Yes. We are a dedicated gluten-free facility which means we do not process any wheat, barley, rye or malt. None of our ingredients contain any gluten. Our specially formulated Organic Karma Baker flour is third party tested to be under 15 ppm.

Yes, this is an important aspect of the bakery to us. As parents and caring members of our community, we use organic ingredients wherever possible and all of our ingredients are non-GMO.

We make our own non-GMO, soy-free, vegan-sweetened sprinkles that we color with plant-based natural food colorants. They are free of hydrogenated oils and no HFCS. They can be purchased at our storefront for your own use at home.

Being vegan or plant-based means we do not use any animal products in our baking. There is no dairy, eggs, gelatin or lard in anything we make.

We created our own organic, proprietary blend of sorghum, white rice, brown rice, tapioca and potato starch. Karma Baker flour is certified gluten-free and specially formulated for vegan baking. It is proven in all of our baked goods to work beautifully in any recipe. It is third party tested to be under 15ppm gluten free. You can try out a bag of  our flour in your favorite recipes, buy it online or in our store.

We primarily use Organic Cold Pressed Coconut oil in our baking. This keeps it in its most beneficial form. Although it is a saturated fat, it does not contain cholesterol, since it’s from plants not animals. Some research we’ve done (because we are health fanatics : ) says it can help lower the LDL (bad cholesterol-that causes arterial plaque to form) and raise the amount of HDL cholesterol (the good one that removes plaque). There’s no hard evidence on if it’s good or bad for you, so those watching their fat intakes can make their own conclusions.

Only in very few of our products. Our cakes and frostings, pies and cookies are all soy-free.

We do have 3 items with organic, non-GMO tofu as an ingredient; please see our menu online with ingredients listed.

Yes, we bake many items with nuts. We also do process peanutbutter in our facility. If you are severely allergic, we do not recommend eating our products.

We primarily use organic vegan sugar which is a minimally processed evaporated cane juice. It has the same grams of sugar as regular sugar but is not processed with bone char or chemicals. We also use coconut nectar, xylitol and stevia as sweeteners in our sugar-free items.

Yes, on a daily basis we have muffins available that are sweetened with coconut nectar. Upon request and by pre-order, we can sweeten almost any item with coconut nectar, Stevia or xylitol. It is different for each item so please call the bakery to inquire.

Yes, we deliver to a limited range within and around Ventura and Los Angeles counties; please call the bakery to schedule a delivery. The delivery fee ranges from $15-$50.

We currently have only one full service bakery, located in Westlake Village. However, we have a large wholesale business that serves markets across Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Ventura County, Ojai and up to San Luis Obispo. For a list of stores that carry our products near you click here.

Yes! Everything we bake freezes very well and can be stored frozen in an airtight environment for up to 3 months. Simply defrost in the refrigerator overnight and enjoy at room temp the next day.

Yes, we do. We are a large supplier to cafes and grocery stores, we bake in large volume everyday. Our cute little bakery in front may look small but behind that wall, we bake on average 900+ items each day.

Yes, we have provided many beautiful brides with delicious and beautiful cakes over the years. Please visit our Cakes Gallery and our Facebook page to see some photos.  To taste our cake flavors, simply come in and purchase the cupcakes and custom frosting flavors you’d like to try. If your wedding cake is over $150, we will deduct the tasting costs (up to $25) from your wedding cake total.

Yes, we can design a custom, specialty or designer cake for any occasion (weddings, birthdays, baby shower, graduation, etc.). It is actually very easy and there are many egg replacers out there. Each item has a different type of egg substitute, but the secret really is in our specially formulated flour; it has unique light and fluffy, binding qualities and makes all of our vegan, gluten-free baking easy.

To ensure you receive the best baked goods possible, we ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday so your goodies get to you quickly and are not held up in a postal facility.

No, we can only deliver within the 50 United States (no territories). Aside from those, we’re able to send overseas to US Military APO and FPO addresses, our gifts can only be delivered domestically within the US (as the risk of getting a perishable product through international Customs and delivered before going bad is just too high).

In order to ensure our Karma Cakes arrive as delicious as we sent them, during the warmest months of the year (May – October) for orders outside of California we must ship items using specially insulated and cooling packing materials.
